To upgrade the skill of Technical Personnel in the industry, GTRTC Dumka has formulated a wide range of training courses that prepare the unemployed youth as well as employed workers with specialized skills equipping them to serve the industry in various spheres such as manufacturing, design & engineering. Our long term training programmes include 1-4 year courses which prepare students to become specialization in Tool & Die Making, and also become specialist Machinists and Fitters. We have several short term and medium term programmes that enable participants to acquire and enhance skills in areas of CAD, CAM, Information Technology, Electrician etc.

We have launched multifarious short term courses both regular and tailor made in CNC, CAD/CAM, and Maintenance etc. The Courses we offer are job oriented and as per the current requirements of the industries. We also import vocational training programs specifically designed to help students utilize their summer, winter and any other type of vacation by enriching their skill and knowledge. Infrastructure and consultancy is also provided to the students interested in doing their final year project work in manufacturing and design. The course and designed to train the technocrats to become supervisor/shop incharge, Design Engineer in industries.
